Other forums that I’ve frequented always have such radical builds for their ‘ride of the month’ that I’ve never really considered entering. But, on this forum, I’ve noticed that a lot of the winners are ‘everyday normal’ rides, which has prompted me to try my hand.

My bike is a 2019 special. I’ve not done an excessive amount of customization, but most of what I’ve done is really just for me. I’ve also done a good bit of ‘de-murdering’ as I thought that bone stock there is just too much black. Black with chrome accents has always been a timeless look, and, well, I like it. Not really planning on any major engine mods, want to keep it as reliable as possible for the long haul.

So on to the mods:

Basic SE stage 1 with ventilator ac and SE high flow exhaust system

CD Led lights front and rear

Legends suspension front and rear

Front fender from Roadglide ST

Fairing lowers for wind management

Custom C&C solo seat with orange stitching (for that splash of color)

SE fat plug wires in orange (shoes gotta match the handbag, lol)

Ciro frame mounted highway pegs

Chrome Agitator wheels (this is the third bike I’ve had these on)

Reflective vinyl accents on the saddlebags that my kid made for me

LRS 12’’ windshield

TPMS and ignition delete through Techno research (not that you can see those)

WHIM (so we can communicate bike to bike, which is awesome)

Willi G skull medallion (an homage from my 2013 CVO that got totaled.)

There's other, little things, but that’s most of my mods.

While I loved my CVO, I have to admit that this bike is the best one I’ve had yet. Don’t want to even test the newer ones, as I plan to keep this for the long haul. May even be the last bike I buy before I ‘age out’ of riding (yeah, I’m getting there, faster than I want to). The wife and I haven’t really gotten to do a whole lot of ‘memory making’ the last 2 years what with covid and all, but we did get to make one major trip out to New Mexico and had a blast. Even got snowed on (in March!) but the bikes performed flawlessly. With the wireless comms, it’s great to be able to ‘chat’ while riding. I always forget those things that I wanted to ‘point out the next time we stop’ so with the comms, we are always in the moment.

Looking forward to many more trips, including Shark Week this year. Thanks for your consideration.

My 2019 Special with stage II, Tab slip on’s, quick detach King tour pak and lowers. I’ve owned many motorcycles and to me they have all looked great so it’s hard for me to say this one is the best looking but it is beautiful. Photos are from October 2021. Took a day run down to East Troy Wisconsin and Alpine Valley ski resort where Stevie Ray Vaughan played his last show 32 years ago.

Sweet ride! I'm also a guy who likes to incorporate some chrome with dark colored paint jobs, especially black. You've got a nice combination of the two there.

thanks. my kid made those for me. she used a black, reflectorized vinyl. during the day, you are really hard pressed to see them, but at night, they do jump out.

the only reason you can see them so well is i had to use a flash to take the pictures. otherwise, you wouldn't have noticed.

Love the paint - was that one of Harley's special limited edition paint schemes where you buy the tins already painted? I have to say that I've never seen that particular scheme on a Roadie before. Nice, very nice!

Also, you get bonus points for having good taste in music!
