Everyone told me I would love the Road Glide (shark nose) vs. the Batwing and boy were they right. I am glad I made the switch....now I need some warm weather! But I can't get the garage door opener to work. The bike makes it click and the LED flashes but it does it once and then never again.

Can't help you with the garage door but....the bike is sweet! I'd go with the manual open. Figure the other stuff out at a later date. :)

You've got heated grips and a heated seat. What do you need warm weather for?

What kind of GDO do you have? Some of the newer ones are finicky with the HD opener.

And congrats on a fine looking bike.

Congrats on the new CVO and welcome to the forum.

As far as the garage door opener.
I'm going from memory but I found it pretty easy on my opener " Genie pro belt drive" Goes something like this.

Take HD receiver and attach on ceiling near power outlet and garage door opener to be operated by bike. Take leads from HD receiver and run these smaller wires to the plus and minus screws on your opener.

I seem to recall an activation button on the HD receiver that you need to press...somewhere on top. Hold it down for a few seconds, until the red light stays on solid red, Go to bike, With ignition on, "the transmitter is already installed from moco" but bike does not need to be running, flip the hi/lo beams back and forth several times and it should cause the HD receiver to program with the bike, and the open garage door to close. You should be done at this point.

Welcome from Florida Followed the directions on pages 103 & 104 of the owners manual, same problem as you, had to move the receiver to the furthest outlet from the opener (Genie Model 2055) works fine. Enjoy your new ride
