Congratulations Zedbra. The ole girl has class and some spunk I’m sure. Not many get ridden as much or taken care of as well. Well done

TY to the other entrants for participating. I’m glad to see this thread come back to life.

Thanks gents. I always say, she's no prom Queen, but in my hands, she'll always get ya home. ;) This is my forever bike, gonna keep it running until I can't find a 12 point 10mm anymore to swap the brakes (or whatever tools I need at the time). What I can find, is 16" tires front and rear. ;) Roll, roll, roll, let yourself go

Mine is 1480/1500, one of the last to leave the line. Even though the TP is a quick release, I always have it mounted through the riding season, it only comes off through the winter when the bike goes up on the hoist. I ripped out all the Ultra wiring harness front and rear - I don't have a CB or Comms - never will.

My naughty girl...Christina.....love how I turned her from a Special to an Ultra (and not even done...of course)....she's been my trusty steed....she just turned 30K....many road trips (Rt66, Glacier/SWIX, SWXI/Bonneville Salt Flats/Yosemite) and all have been epic and memorable.....

There are some great bikes....I mean AWESOME bikes in the BOTM running. Great idea by the Admin & Mods here. Every month is a new treat. I hardly feel qualified to put mine in here. Belatedly....major compliments to Ian (Zedbra) for his 'you're not getting older...you're getting better' Glide which won for July. That's one I always admire. I haven't followed things too closely here recently, as I've had a sudden onset of vertigo which has disabled me from riding completely. So I took a bit of time to list up the (omg) stuff we've done to our 2020 Road Glide Limited. I give huge credit to my fantastic wife for her enthusiasm and input. I also credit the RG Forums and so many of its members with helping make this ride into what she is. Our dream ride come to life; here is PIKLZ:

Well, I wish I had better news. I've had this vertigo for 8 consecutive days and it's not going away. I just went for a short walk outside and felt drunk the entire time. I'm queasy or even nauseated about 50% of the day. Have lost 3 pounds (not missed though) from reduced intake. There's simply no way I can touch the bike currently. I wouldn't be able to get it out of the garage without a wreck. I know this isn't BOTM-topic stuff, but I really appreciate you asking Ian.

Anyway....trying to get an ENT appt soon. My wife is concerned and watching over me like a hawk.

The forum helps me pass some of the time. I'm grateful to all.

@StoneTrekker hope your vertigo isn't like my Mom's. About 50 years of age it started and about ten years later it went away, with no rhyme or reason. Never an issue since....

I know it can be a very troubling and puzzling condition. No way to guess how it all plays out, but I'm staying confident. Yesterday was pretty tough. I spent the entire day either sitting inside or puttering in the house for brief periods. I was really screwed up with vertigo....walking like a drunk guy. I slept away some of the hours while my wife worked and worried about me.

This morning and day have been markedly better. My balance is still off, but the severity is maybe only 30% of what it was yesterday. No nausea, and I feel more aware of the world around me. I'm really hoping to see the ENT doc tomorrow.

Appreciate. Kev
