I've been using Base Camp for several years, and find the ride times it provides are surprisingly accurate. Nearly all of my riding has been in the US. I'm headed to Nova Scotia this summer, so I'll be in New Brunswick, on PEI, and then on Nova Scotia.

I have us routed on almost all coastal roads. Has anyone had experience using Base Camp when riding Canadian coastal roads? Are the projected times as close to accurate up there as they are in the states? Anyone know?

I'm currently in Europe and I tried routing a ride that's 100miles away and it tried telling me it was going to take 2hrs and 15mins, use Google Maps projected 1.5hrs and that's the time I remember it taking last time I went to the location.

I've not used BaseCamp, but have found MyRoute-app.com to be a very good route planning tool.
