Time has finally come to order speakers and amp for my '13 RG Custom. I plan to do a pair of 6.5's in fairing another in lowers with CVO speaker pods (thanks Jon @horny Toad). I am planning to go with Rockford PBR amp and Infinity Kappa 62.11's.

My question is where is everybody ordering these from? They seem to be the popular choice as far as bang for buck. I used to easily find the 62.11's on Amazon but now I cant seem to find em.

Lastly, I know I need 6.5" adapters for fairing speakers and a wiring kit, anybody got recomendation on where is best to buy these?

I'd go with Hawgwired or Arc audio for the adapters, if you're not familiar with the wires and fuses you need for wiring you'd be better off going to your local car stereo shop than paying some of the prices some companies want for a wiring kit, IMO.

After listening to few, Arc audio sounds great, however if you can, Fosgate will sound better. They have dedicated plug and play systems and are waterproof. If you live in atown like mine, we only have a couple of car audio places, and they charge an arm and a leg... I got the fosgate system with amp and did it myself for less than half than it would have costed at the car audio... wasnt very hard and if you're careful, and read the instructions that come with them, it will be really no problem and done in one afternoon...Night and day difference on my bike and now we can hear the speakers LOUD and CLEAR at 70MPH... BIG thumbs up.

If you ever wired up sound systems up in a car you can on a bike.
As where to buy , depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. If your on wanting to spend 3 bill or so on speakers &amp look for the cheapest online deal. Just remember, some manufacturers don't honor warranty if bought at wholesalers. If your going to spend on the upper side of 5 bills, buy from a reputable dealer.

I ordered the the 62.11i this morning on Amazon, but they won't be shippable until later this week. I have prime, so shipping is free but didn't really want to wait. Found them at Crutchfield for about $5 less and free shipping.
