Stock mirrors were useless for me also, as all I could see was my upper arms / shoulders or the trees beside the road behind me.

I ordered a pair or HD extensions, and these lifted the mirrors 2".....still didn't do what I was looking for.
Next I bought a pair of black extended mirrors from dealer.....these are extended out not up......
These mirrors along with my heritage style bars allow me to see both lanes behind myself.

I tried the 2" extensions also.. not a lot of help. Looked at the HD split vision mirrors and liked them. They do extend out about an inch more that the standard, I see more of the road. They look nice too.

Ride safe.-- Bill

The mirrors look great, and nice pics thanks! I really like the doo dads like the GPS and MP3 holder. I really also love the cup holder, who makes that?? :D

Agreed the kurayken mirrors do look good and certainly improve the visibility back there. I also would like to know where you go that cup holder!

The stock mirrors were the 2nd thing I changed on my bike.... Went with these, Kury Magnuims
I really like those ones, but I'm a little confused. The ones on your bike look like they have longer stems than the one in the picture you posted from the Kuryakyn site.
On the other hand the Magnum Plus mirrors on the Kuryakyn site have the longer stems, but they have different shaped heads.
Do you have the model # for the ones you have on your bike?

I don't have the number on hand but the Kury catilog pic is on a angle. and my pic is from the riders view. I highly recommend these mirroirs.

I had a set of split vision mirrors on my '07 Ultra. I wasnt' that impressed with them but they were ok. I let them go with the bike when I sold it. A couple of days ago while rummaging around in my garage I found a set of Kury Magnums. I think I bought them for my wifes '06 sporty but they vibrated so bad I didn't use them. I mounted one of them on my glide to compare it to the stock. To my surprise it didn't vibrate any more than the stock so I mounted the other one. One thing I like about them is objects are not closer than they appear.

Try loosening the controls and rotating them a little then push the stems out further and rotate the mirrors I gaurentee that it will work. I am not a small guy and one of my buddys came over and made the adjustments and i felt like a total fool

I agree with blacktopr. The stems should be 90 degrees to the frame when the bars and tire is straight. Try this first before you buy some added items. If it doesn't work, then some of these items that others have mentioned might be your best bet.

Ride safe and have fun.
