Bike won't start after new battery

@Sancho 59 If the Bike is cranking over it’s not the Starter. It’s most likely the Alarm is not letting the coil for the spark plugs which is what it is supposed to do if Armed and Working Properly.

@Sancho 59 If the Bike is Cranking and Not Starting and there is No Issue with the Alarm then it’s either Spark or Fuel causing The Issue. Remove the Spark Plugs and reconnect them and crank the engine and see if they spark. If they do then it’s a fuel issue. If they don’t then it’s an electrical issue.
Best of Luck!

@Sancho 59 Are You sure the New Battery is fully charged?
Code P1608 is loss of communication with ECM.
Even though it is Historical if the battery is not fully charged it may cause issues with the ECM so it will not start.

Mike if you pull the plugs and reconnect to the wires, will they spark? For some reason I was thinking there was something about needing compression to get spark. Am I mistaken?
@Yellow09SERG Dave when You Pull the Plugs out and reattach them crank the motor over and they should show spark between the electrode. If they don't just ground the plug to the head and then it should work. When doing this if there is no spark it's either the plugs, wires, coil, or power to the coil is bad.
I hope I have explained this correctly.
