Installed new 10" mini apes, I took the ignition switch out and I did not do it right but it came out. I finally got it back in and the bike won't start and radio don't come on, also blinkers don't work. The engine light comes on and you can hear the fuel pump, guage lights work. not sure what to do any help would be great, Thanks.

I was having a discussion about swapping handlebars with my friend on Sunday. He mentioned that I need to be careful not to mess up the ignition switch. I didn't get any other details but you may want to call a dealership and ask a mechanic.

Actually I found that if I turn the key past the first stop and go to access it turns the radio on and the horn will work as well as all handlebar radio controls, I think its the ignition, but who know. I'm sure I screwed it up.

That is an excellent video and it makes the task very simple.

I watched my Indy put my ignition switch back on after we swapped the handle bars and he had to align the cylinders up inside so all the switch functions would work correctly. He had to it a few times and it is frustrating.

Actually the roads are covered with snow right now, and that is why I'm not riding. I am taking my bike in to get fixed on tuesday and I will let you know. If I would have watched that video posted above I would not have had a single problem. I am glad I did it myself, gives me something to do with the bike when I can't ride(cuz of snow and daytime high in the teens).

Ahh the snow! I feel your pain with that. Have you tried pulling your ignition apart again and make one of the tools the guy has? Maybe going back through it step by step you may solve it yourself and save the trip to the shop with it.
Good luck
