I tend to ride relatively fast as compared to the speed limit. Like some others, I use a radar detector. Has anyone tried to connect a bluetooth radar detector to the new Boom audio systems? If so, how did it work? What equipment did you use? Were the protocals supported?

Having read all the Harley literature I could find, it appears that the only Bluetooth device that will pair with the BOOM system is a smartphone.

I've found the info system will find a pair with the Sena but since it will not send a signal back to it, it won't work. The radar detector, if it is compatible should be just sending a signal to the radio and would work it would seem. Interested in what you find out.

Escort Max 2 Radar detector
I purchased an Escort Max2 detector which I was told would pair with my iPhone which is paired with my boom box. The pairings are in place, but my Boom Box is not getting the signal.
Anyone have any suggestions?
