That's a great option. I just use the Sena10 headset and play everything via my phone or headunit Bluetooth.

so you get to plug in a device to your aux port and run a cable to your phone for charging?
So why not just plug your phone into the aux port?

I put together a similar system using parts from different manufactures. See http://www.roadglide.org/showthread.php?t=116393

I don't have experience with the Rockford system. The system with the parts I described was totally awesome in clarity.

The advantage of the Rockford is the flexible dongle which will put less stress on the prone to break AUX port.

Ive had the same thing from Griffin for about 2yrs now. Got mine on amazon for about $40. Use it all the time and works pretty good. Use it for streaming music and gps from my phone. My only minor issue with it is, it plugs into the cig lighter on the left side of the fairing and a cord plugs into the aux port on the right side so there will be a wire to try and hide

That's the way I looked at it also. My iPhone is in the glove box with the cable running to the aux input. Only use the bluetooth for phone calls and communications with passenger. Better sound IMHO.

Well, with all of us having road glides , we get to use the glove boxes as storage for our phones but batwings not so much. I wondered the same thing but when It was explained it made total since. It basically has a cell charging option, but this allows you to run bluetooth to OE Head unit using AUX port. So you can keep the phone in ur pocket, no longer need to mount it somewhere.
