Noticed my rear master cylinder was low. Topped it off with fluid. Pushed on pedal and heard a hissing noise. Found brake fluid was leaking at the ABS box. Fluid ran down the back of the motor area, sprayed the interior of the side cover.

Wiped down the insterior of the side cover with windex then soap/water. Washed down the remainder of the bike with soap/water (easy mist).

1-Anyone else have this happen?
2-Risk of paint damage to the frame and motor areas?

Going to call dealer in the morning to pick it up. 2012 RGU 3900 miles.

Did you check the banjo bolts on the ABS unit for tightness? You will most probably have air in the system; once the dealer has fixed the problem make sure they bleed the rear system before getting it back.

Dealer picked up today, will have them inspect it for what repairs need to be done. Hopefully no paint related damages.
