Got to ask why did you go with R motor with no warranty rather than ST with one year then you can swap out the cam later? The ST comes with the throttle body for same price.

My buddy ran the R motor for 6000 miles and a lifter went and F'ed his motor.

The R motor needs better lifters, springs and possibly a welded crank for that cam.

IMHO

Bigdog81, I have 43000 on my other R engine with no issues.
Kyle31490, I am just looking to sell the engine. Look me up this summer and we can go for a scoot though. I go to Majestic a lot with the Razor.

Point being 1 year covered is a good policy with throttle body and injectors. Cam and lifters later for cost of throttle body. 259e is a better cam for touring also but to each his own. Good luck with sale and 120r. Thats a dam good price a local indy may buy it mine did.
