I thought this would be a gleeming review of an otherwise awesome seat and experience. But I was sadly mistaken. Has to be the single worst experience I have ever had ordering and dealing with a company in my 43yrs of life.

I placed my order with Chuck. After several days of not receiving a confirmation email I call to find out the status of the seat. Come to find out Chuck put the wrong address on the order and failed to even bother with a confirmation email. Several days later no seat. Turns out Chuck failed to put the correct, or complete address once again, but this time tried to blame me. I cancel my order entirely at this point and still haven't received a refund nor product in weeks since ordering. Shame on you Chuck and C&C Seats...very very poor service and attention to customers.

Yeah, I rave about them and their seats too. Chuck and Chuy have always been first class in my dealings with them. I guess anyone can have a royal screw-up though. Sorry you had trouble. I did note that this is your first post on the forum, so if you signed on simply to rant, then you're not likely to get a whole lot of sympathy here. If, however, you would like to participate in the whole RG experience overall and if you have some valuable contributions, then please introduce yourself in the New Members forum - you'll get a very warm welcome!

I bought a C&C seat from Chuck and Chuy when they first started their biz about 10 years ago. Since then a lot of my friends have also bought from them. Their customer service has always been top notch. This last time around, I decided to go with a different seat on my RGC because I thought it would better suit my needs. C&C still remains at the top of my list, though.

I went to their shop last month to discuss a seat for my '15 RGS. Chuck and Chuy had my custom solo-wide w/backrest done in less than a week (not counting Sunday) cuz they knew I had a long-distance inaugural ride coming up quick!

The stitching is flawless, very even, very straight. But...after riding it for the first 2000-miles, I noticed a slight discrepancy and also felt that I was not as comfortable as I couldve been on this premium seat.

So....I rode my bike back to their shop on a Saturday (90 minutes away and a half-day schedule for them) and pointed out my concerns. They told me my concerns are a relatively easy fix, but we both agreed that due to time constraints and man-power it be better I come back another day during the week when they have their full crew and I could wait for it while they fixed my concerns. Cool!.....gimme another reason to ride somewhere....lol.

Due to my work schedule, I haven't been able to ride back, but hopefully soon. I'm confident that Chuck & Chuy will do right by me...they assured me of it.

Now I realize I'm fortunate to be within easy riding distances to quite a few aftermarket companies...and I know that "fitting" or even FTF negotiations aren't available to most. It's not easy to pay big $$$ for something like a custom saddle and not be able to try it out first (they had several ready-made seats for me to install on Chuy's RG for me to test-sit on).

I will say my experiences with C&C so far has been positive...and I really don't expect it to change. They are a small shop, appear to be a busy shop, and very approachable. Its "just" Chuck & Chuy and their employee staff of five (I think).

Have know and used C&C for 10 years on both softail and both RG's. Always top notch to the point that they have let me borrow seats for weeks to see if it is a good fit.
