I have a "solo" ride 22 CVO envious green that I wanted to wake up a bit, my "faster than a speeding ticket" days are pretty much over..or at least far and few between now. But I do like a little bit better than stock when the wife stays home & get to take our the mistress! I get to push it with no fear of a fist to the back the head! After a little bit of back n forth on cam, which there are a lot to choose from, I was turned on to Cycle Rama from my local builder/mechanic. I was originally between the star 30/30(hugely), S&S475 and the zippers rs468. He was fine with any of them, he was familiar with the typical results of each..all in the same neighborhood, but favored the only company not on my radar due to a recent build with a CR 483. So as I dug into cycle rama I found this 480MT (monster torque). On a total bare bones budget build. It tuned out to 121 hp and 151 tq. Torque comes on fast and hard, and Horses pull up steadily. Very impressed.
What was done: TAB BAM STICKS ZOMBIE BAF's, TAB 2-1-2 (to use stock heat shield)CR-480MT, S&S lifters, tensioner, quickee pushrods, fueling sprocket + bearing and gasket kit. Cheap-O RSD knock off air cleaner from a friend's recommendation $75.00 eBay!
What was left in: Stock cam chest, stock lifter cuffs, stock intake, stock injectors.

i did the CR483 cam on my 22 RGST 117. I did the 55mm S&S intake, 6.2 injectors, CR202 lifters and FuelMoto Adj Pushrods, Trask Air Cleaner and V&H Propipe. Had the bike Dyno tuned by Matt at Those Dyno Guys 128HP and 143 TQ were my numbers. The bike is a total night and day difference.

Thanks for the input. great numbers. my builders with the 483 did much of the same kind of build , intake and injectors, trask air assault, 2-1, s&s cam chest..etc
dyno results 134 hp 141 tq. if I did the intake and injectors may have pulled the horse up +5, true 2 to 1 maybe another +5... it was a "let's see what she can do without that other stuff" kind of decision. although my builder did frown upon my knock off air filter choice! ha..i think its fine! $400 savings,
sounds great, pulls great, happy happy happy!
