IIRC there was some mounting difference reported between the SERG and the non-SERG bikes.....

however I have not "tested" the windshield...

It will only fit if you already have the SERG molding. Without that rubber strip, it won't work correctly.

And I have also heard that some mysterious models had mounting holes slightly 'off' from the norm, but have never seen this in person.

Bottom line, if you have the SERG molding, and it lines up on your bike, this shield will fit.

I can't see the MoCo spending money, when they don't have to.

If the holes are off..... a drill will fix it right up. A chrome windshield molding would hide any extra holes..... and maybe a little duct tape

I prefer silicone to fill up extra holes,
that way it won't leak....:p

Just a note from Clearview Shields

Hi - Came across your post. Not sure if that particular shield will fit, just wanted to note that, although the fairing itself hasn't changed since 1999, the angle of the fairing changed in 2004. We redesigned our shields to accomodate that change and I'm not sure if all aftermarket manufacturers did. If you put a "not-redesigned" shield after 2004, you'll end up with a more vertical angle than originally intended. Also, you should note that in 2010, HD raised the fairing...

Just thought I'd jump in with that. Hope it helps. Please feel free to contact us if anyone needs more information...

Thanks,
