I do on my 11 RGU and love em, but kinda wish I would have went with the 14"s. Believe my brake was a +6 and clutch was a +8. They made me a deal on the clutch due to ordering it for another customer and they decided they didn't need it. Also, it will be easier to wire them if you buy a new screaming eagle fly by wire controller and the NAMS plus 6 kit.
I have the 12" flying apes and used the cables suggested and supplied by Carlini. They are long and could have gotten away with a shorter set and been easier to route. Been to long and don't have the size info anymore. Check out tracyb's photos I really wish mine could have been ran along the bars like her's.
I finally was able to get my bars installed onto my RGS. The dealer quoted 6+ hours of labor so I decided to tackle it myself. Please keep in mind my mechanical experience goes as far as bolting my own pipes on, changing the A/c and installing a tuner...so it is limited.
How wide do you want your handlebars to be for comfort and control. Just curious where the width from Bar end to bar end should be for comfort and control. It seems some of the newer t bars are narrower and didn’t know if that is better or worse.
I know, yet another phone mount post.......So after ordering a few options and not loving any of them, considering drilling and taping the clutch housing bracket. I love this phone mount and never worried about the phone, but they don't make 1 1/2" bracket arm. Thoughts?
