Anyone familiar with CBD for pain. Ive been reading some interesting articles about its pain relieving properties. Many people are using it and not having the side affects that are associated with prescription pain medication. Are any of you taking it and or know someone who is? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am talking with my Pain Mgt Specialist about this too - I was on Norco for almost 9 years and after the last surgery said enough and quit - I have some Mild Tramidols that I still take if needed but they do nothing really for the occasional wrong movement or poor seating - I don't want to go back to pills but the "Puff Puff" always made me so fucking paranoid that there is no way I could ever function for work

Trying to find that middle ground where I am pain free but not stoned to the bone and unable to work

Steady keep in touch. I'm also doing a little home work on it myself. I spoke with a girl that said you can get pure cbd but like Reds said you need some thc to get the most out of it. Anything over 3% will cause you to fail a drug test if that's an issue but the girl said 10% had the best absorption and no paranoia but a more calming focused affect. She could have been feeding me a line of crap but it did make since the way she explained it.

Far as vap oil, the legal snake oil your better off huffing glue or biofrezze.

There's a few strain s
Which are predictable

Then again....you won't pass a
Drug test , medical or not

That is new to me.

I will just live with pain through level 3.

Level 4 and 5 over the counter if I can't sleep.

6 and above, hydrocodone / Tylenol, Percocet, and add some morphine if it hits 8 or above

I don't know what pain free feels like.

Reliable sites like Leafy.....All bud

Like BB for might (without 'couch lock)
Blue Dream (2% CBD) ...17-24 thc for daytime or plushberry for easy going all day weed

You MUST certainly,, if it were me, know and/or research nutrient systems like 'House & Garden'
The grower(s) , if what they use for ....pesticides, or go as some say ' organic, if the flush their girls before they murder them
Hang cure and all that
Burn in the back ya throat & nose is a bad sign
There so many Co-ops & Rec stores around here....most ant premium & scam
Gylerin based saves , oils..work , then again the THC
Even Honey slides

What you need to try is CanazALL Made by Hemp Life Today. Lookup Hemp Lift Today and check out their products, the CanazALL is all CBD and it is 50 state legal because it has no THC in it which means you can have pain relief without worrying about failing drug tests. Also you can get edibles that have THC in it which will affect you differently then doing the puff puff thing, but then you have to worry about drug test. Right now Hemp Life Today has FREE TRIAL offers going so you may want to take advantage of the offers.

I find that high CBD strains turned into edibles with some THC work best. What I have read from the limited real medical studies suggest that there is some entourage effects by have a full extract.

I still use some vicodin rarely, before it was a constant daily event. CBD is no cure all but it can have a positive effect on inflammation. My Knees are all wore out (scoped multiple times) and I broke my fibula just above the ankle and I feel the setting of the short piece of bone with a titanium plate was less than successful. A good combo strain seems to work the best for me.

I don't know how to subscribe but I'm following this. I would love to find sone pain relief without failing drug tests, I'm a union mechanic, or peeking out windows like a crack head. The shit just makes me horribly paranoid.

While I loved it in my teens and 20's.......I don't partake any more as it just makes me feel......well, I just don't like how it makes me feel anymore. But my girl is going through some long term nerve pain issues and she just can't smoke it. Makes her way paranoid like some of you mentioned. So this friend of hers who is a medicinal MJ advocate and delivers the stuff to people says to her "you HAVE to try CBD oil!!!!" Talked it up like some kind of miracle cure.

OK, anything to get her off the oxycodones, so we took her advice and bought a couple different ones.

Sorry but not a single one made a damn bit of difference. Honestly I'm not surprised. I mean, bud.......and alcohol have ZERO pain reliving properties for me. Maybe for some but not for me. Or her.

My suggestion is try it for yourself......just don't spend a whole bunch.....try a sample or something and see if it helps.

Oh yeah, she also tried about 5 different types of Kratom. Herbal powder......she's on a forum and they're all just talking it up. Does nothing for her. Sigh.

It probably is not going to be able replace oxycodone, a combination of THC & CBD with all the other possible terpenes might make a difference but I doubt that it would totally replace oxycodone.

But then you'd be high as shit all day, right?
You probably already are if your on Oxycodine any way.

DR prescribes me oxycodone and I don't like taking them. I go for days and even weeks without taking them if I can tolerate the pain but there are times the pain is so bad I have to take them and then I have to suffer from the side effects. Thc/cbd edibles work the best for me in most instances and makes it possible to only take opiates once in awhile so I don't get hooked.

the problem with cbd stems from our arcane laws. it all has to be imported so it is expensive. then there is the problem with standardization. some oils say a certain percentage, when it doesn't even come close to that, or way more than that.

if you want to try it, research the company as best you can. you don't want to buy it from some fly by night.

and also, be aware that it depends on the root cause of your pain. it isn't just a blanket relief like pain pills. I have a friend and it works great for her. but my wife, not so much.
