Hey there I have one small problem, I have added some new chrome parts to my bike. The problem is that the parts I have added it, now have what looks like rust? What am I doing wrong?

all you can do is keep it clean and polished,the quality of chrome(especially h-d)is not good quality.i've had the same prolbem on some pieces.the chinese have'nt figured out how to do good plating yet.so much for quality control!!

I'm not a chrome guy but I think that black powder coated parts would look excellent on your orange bike. Just my 2 cents.... not that anyone asked.

All parts that i have put on is H-D. So far it is the highway peg's and the bolt's for the 6 pack rack. Yea I have been thinking about going with black but I have not seen that much out there. Maybe i am looking in the wrong place.

My husband and I have both had problems with chrome bolts that are HD. They rust as soon as they are out of the package it seems. Most of my chrome accessories are from Joker Machine & Pro One and I have had no problems whatsoever with them. We ride all year round, rain or sun. Also ChromeBolt.com is a great place to buy nuts, bolts, etc in bulk. Quality has held up for us so far. Theres lots of stuff out there, just google whatever part ur looking for and Im sure you'll find what you need & then some.
