Did a small wiring job, got bike back together and started it up to make sure I had not run down the battery.
I put the bike in gear (clank-normal). I let the clutch out slowly, and find.
Then I half popped the clutch. That is, I did not fully engage but rapidly let out the clutch just enough to engage the trans. I hear a loud clunk-clank combination. I can repeat this every time I try it.
I do not give it much if any throttle.
Normal?

More info on work done and upgrades.
Not normal releasing the clutch and hear such clank noise.
Compensator could be an issue.

What work did you do to the bike? What type of wiring work?

Have you done the primary chain adjustment. You use 1st gear run up to 30 and use the rear brake till it almost stalls without pulling in the clutch. Could be a loose primary chain slapping around.

I put in a switch on the left side of the lower dash, put together a deutch plug, plugged that into the Y duetch connector I got from HD. It runs fans under the seat and behind the engine.
