Anyone running one? Good bad and ugly. I have a C&C that I am replacing. I like the riding position but not the seat. Still on the fence if I am sending it to Astech or sending it down the road. Seats are so damn expensive that you need to get it right. If a modification doesn't turn out well then I am out the same amount of cash and still a bad seat. Since they appear to be fairly custom how long do they take?

I am running one and I have around 65k on it total. This is the second bike I've had it on and would put it on the next bike if I were to trade again. I bought mine at the Ormond Beach store during Bikeweek 3 years ago and they had it in stock. I'm not sure how long custom orders take but the few guys that I know that had to order them all said it arrived ahead of what they were told it would take. Even though it's a firm seat it is by far the most comfortable seat I have taken long rides on. I have several rides where I've been in the saddle 7-9 hours total. It's definitely not for everyone but for those of us that like them we really like them.

I've been running a Corbin classic solo for about 5-years and several long distance rides and I will never ride without one. It is very comfortable for me. I also had a C&C before the Corbin, and same as you loved the riding position and the quality of the seat, but was not comfortable after a couple hours in the saddle.

I'm running one and it's comfortable, rode across country without any issues...don't know how long they take as I did the Ride In program

How is the seating position compared to stock?

I have one and it appears to be about a 1- 1 1/2" further back. I use that one all the time but for my wife's comfort I usually end up switching it out for a modified stock one-peice seat. I'm less comfortable on the modified stock seat. Alone I only use the Corbin, even for long rides.
