I have been researching extended bags as well as fender extensions and fender covers and checked out http://www.worthcustoms.com/ (Dan Worth). It looks like he has some good stuff and does really good paint work. Does anyone have any info or experience with this company or products? I am seriously considering buying his rear fender extension and extended saddle bags for my 06.

Looks good in the pics, however thats finished work. Sometimes it takes a good trim guy to make a carpenters work look good.

I know what you mean...I do have access to a great body guy that does hot rods and show cars. I could take him a turd and he could make it look like a modern arts masterpiece lol...kind of like you and your skills. Hell, I can’t make up my mind...lol. May go with the Worth Custom fender extension and the Milwaukee Bagger bags or the Bad Dad bags or the Fairing Factory bags or or or or....see what I mean? Milwaukee Bagger has some nice extended fenders too. I can't find a lot of extended fenders out there. I would do the extended fender cover but worry about the fiberglass cracking under pressure of my rider’s backrest. Decisions decisions.

Try Top Shop Bags, they were making some nice pieces. I have use a Bad Dad rear fender (fiberglass) on one bike build. It was good, but I still did some tweaking on a few details. Took a bit to set it up correctly to drill the mounting holes.

I do not believe Dan Worth is making the bags, it does not look like bags are their main business. I imagine they are just the middle man for one of the main bag makers (top shop, bad dad, etc.). You will probably get a better deal going direct to the bag manufacturers'.

You don't get to see the inside of the bags in his photos. Just a liner. My guess is, they aren't a smooth finish inside. Arlen Ness has some nice extended bags and fenders as well. I think Yaffe used his bags and I have seen them in person. Very nice bags and they are smooth inside and out. I think Milwaukee Bagger's bags are smooth also. Sinister Industries makes stretched ABS bags like Harley's. They are $895. Probably some of the most inexpensive stretched bags you will find.

According to him the bags were designed by him and sold locally for four years. I know designing doesn’t necessarily mean manufacturing.

I like the thought of ABS bags. I like the Milwaukee Bagger stuff real well and the Sinister bags are very nice too. It’s hard to decide when you haven’t seen the product in person or talked to someone that has used them. Its hard to drop that kind of cash when you are unsure of the final results. I went through the same thing when I bought my 21/18 wheels and PYO bars...lol. I will eventually figure it out...maybe...lol.
