I got the wheels from a buddy last June but had to install the abs bearings crush tubes etc! Called DNA and they sent me the parts i needed and also told me how they should be installed even wrote on each part some kinda guide for installation! Took them to an indy shop and had them installed! Abs light comes on after I ride it for a few miles! Checked code and its pointing to rear wheel abs sensor is intermittent! After an attempt or two with DNA and the Indy I really didn't get it resolved! So I kept rolling on with ABS light still on! Well a couple weeks ago I get a grinding noise I the front wheel! I took wheel off and the abs bearing is shot and wasn't even close to crush tube! The dealership replaced bearings so good to go! I had in my mind my Indy did not follow directions on the initial install and therefore didn't install bearing correctly! (Maybe maybe not) soooooooo I also had to let dealer retune my pipes so I figured I needed a rear tire anyway and at the same time they could check my rear abs sensor and bearings etc! He stated he strapped bike down on dyno and got a wobbling from the rear end! After taking tire off and checking everything this is what the result is! Broke bolts in the hub abs bearing bad and also had to replace rear wheel sensor! His advice to me was to stay away from aftermarket rear wheels especially if your particularly hard on the throttle! He stated that out of 100 aftermarket wheels 10 end up like this! (Not a scientific fact)! So I'm am passing the advice on to fellow riders! Wheels are DNA Storm 21x18!

Totally off topic, but reading this post had me cracking up reading it with the punctuation that's there...reminded me of this hilarious Seinfeld episode where Elaine broke up with a guy because he didn't use an exclamation point in a message... :) I think your keyboard might have an issue. :)

BLESSINGS!

Too bad about your issue, I am fortunate as I like my stock wheels.

Hmmmm, this is a interesting one. I'm sure DNA has a ton of wheels out there with no issues....yet here you are. If you really think it's the whee, I'd for sure be on the horn with DNA and shipping the wheel out to them.....I mean....how completed could it really be? You wouldn't think that complicated. It has the right clearances or not....it's true or not.

Good luck!

I've been running aftermarket wheels on my harley since it was new, never a problem. Also ran aftermarket wheels on my previous harley, think you might have a defective set of wheels or the Indy shop you've used have some low quality mechanics! Sorry to hear about your down and out luck, let us know how it gets resolved!

Well I was told to try the machine shop to get bolts out or drill new holes to offset the other ones but to be honest I'm gunshy now so I'll be rolling stock on the back from here on out. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying all aftermarket wheel do this or DNA wheels. I'm just sharing a story that may help someone out there! I had a buddies rear wheel do this on a ride from Albany Georgia to South Carolina so it does happen!

I call BS on what the dealer told you. I think the issue here is probably your indy reusing the rotor bolts vice replacing them like you're supposed to. Additionally I think you'd be more likely to have problems with a stock wheel since they're cast aluminum and 99% of aftermarket wheels have forged hubs. Just my opinion.
