I had a map that a west coast tuner was kind enough to "lend" me back in May after I did my 95" build. I've been holding on to it since I got it, for the last 2,500 miles of riding, and because my bike seemed to be running OK. I was also intimidated by the thought of hooking up a computer to my bike and possibly screwing up my tune up somehow. I finally got passed my fears and hooked up the laptop to the bike and Race Tuner and dropped in the map. It was so freaking easy I couldn't believe it! It took a minute or so for it to download. My bike had been running a bit lean, but not any more. It's so much more responsive in all throttle positions and operating ranges. I don't know why I waited so long. The next step will be to take it to the local H-D shop for a base line dyno run and some (hopefully) minor tweaking to the map, but right now, I'm satisfied with it as it is. If I put it on the dyno and get @ 85-95HP and 90-100 ft/lbs torque, I'll consider it "mission accomplished."
