Following my RGU drop 2 Sunday ago and the impossibility to raise the bike by myself, a forum fellow member suggested me the dustriders hoist from advmotorrad.com
The Company deliver in Europe, so I placed the order and it showed up to my door this morning.
Hope to never have to use it, but it a good insurance policy to be kept in the saddlebag....

Does it fit in the saddlebag? How much room is left, if it fits?

My ankle is now better so I put the hoist in the bag; it fits and the room left is enough for 2 rain gear sets.
The secret is to re-pack everything as un-packaged (the first time it came out longer but luckily I had the picture so when repacked I got the right dimensions in terms of length
Here is the picture:

Lifting the bike is mostly technique. Hope you weren't injured and good to see you found a solution to having to pick it up yourself. Probably a good idea to review a few videos on picking the bike up just in case. Interesting product.
