THAT HAS TO BE INSANE @ the difference!!
So am I correct in saying that he (#177) has all of the screaming eagle stage 4 128" kit, other than the Khromewerks headpipes, mufflers and louvered baffles and the new extreme wedge air cleaner??

Looks like this Andrews 554 cam works for you in just about all of your big bores!!!! (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)💪

Question
Why did the Fast Johnny (#167 @ 149/160) kick ass compared to these other 2 HD stage 4 packages in last few day?? Is it because of the name and paint scheme?👀🤣👻
Yes #177 had all the parts from the Stage 4 kit except the cam was changed out for the Andrews 554 and the supplied headpipe was ditched in favor of the Khromewerks headpipes. The Khromewerks mufflers and louvered baffles were going to be used regardless. The extreme wedge air cleaner was also going to be used regardless since the customer had the stock one anyways.

#166 and #168 both had Trask air cleaners where the Fast Johnny #167 has what I call the Diesel Filter. Basically, the Trask filters look great but can’t flow the amount of air the Diesel filter can. Normally I can tune a bike and get it set, then doing nothing more than bolting the Diesel filter on, can typically gain 5hp and 5tq.

So what is this 'diesel' AC? I looked back for pics, only saw the 'extreme wedge' pic.

I call it the diesel filter because it looks like it belongs on a diesel pickup. Lol

You know I’ve got that Trask. Have you dyno’d one with the K&N filter in it and not the one Trask uses. I know I want to swap mine out to the K&N. I believe @Mike U or @Zedbra have the part number. I forgot it.

I use the K&N, though it does get a little bit squished going on; my Trask one did as well. The K&N part number is: E-3226

Here is how that looked. Member right after me said that his K&N fit perfect.

My boss’s 131 has the k&n insert in his trask and it makes pretty much what the other 131s make. He’s going to change his out to the extreme wedge when I put his 135 cylinders on.

I guess if you are chasing big numbers, then this is a good solution - you've proven it time and again. I just can't get my mind around the looks of it; kinda like a Madstad, I guess it needs to grow on ya. Until then, all I can think of is it looks like a whale shark face fucking the wind. lol

I didn’t build this one, another dealership did. I just got to tune it. Crate 135” with a D&D 2-into-1. Could make more with a better air cleaner but still not bad at all.

Are these higher hp bikes still running the OE belt? If so, have you seen them getting thrashed?
The bulk of them are running the stock belt and I haven’t seen one let go yet. A couple have had chain conversions but those seem to need more adjustment more often. Could be the lower grade chain though.

A new Breakout that I did for a customer. I tried to change their mind on the chosen pipes but they had to have them for their desired look.

When he chose that seat any thoughts about looks left the chat. 😜
In his defense, the owner is 83 and doesn’t really care what any of us think because believe me I gave him shit over the seat and the pipes. Lmao

2011 CVO SG with 91,xxx miles on it. Came in for fresh cylinders and rings and customer decided to add 585 cams. Wouldn’t let us change the air cleaner, headpipe or existing slipons.

Customer brought me his 2023 Low Rider ST 117 that his buddy “who knows his shit” put a Star 30-30 cam in, shorty 2-into-1 and high flow air cleaner on. I guess the guy screwed around in the map and claimed he had it dialed in. No other motor work. I just fixed his tune.
