Dyno pulls I’ve done

I’m going to try and continue to post to this thread as I tune bikes at work. The goal of this is to show what numbers I’m getting out of what combinations here in Texas. Not saying I’m the be all, end all of tuners, just want to share with everyone. Most of the time, here lately, because of the extreme heat, I’ve been going in around 6am to tune. These are all done with a Dynojet chassis dyno and power vision maps / tuners. None of these graphs I post will be Screamin Eagle street tuners, Thundermax or TTS, unless noted. I try to put text in each pic so you know the combination used. They won’t only be Road Glides and some I don’t remember all the parts I use. If I say “Harley 131 kit” and don’t list anything specific, then it’s just as the kit comes. I will make it a point to highlight what parts I do change.

I hope everyone enjoys this and feel free to ask questions. I’ll do my best to answer / remember the bikes. Lol.

Customer’s bike from today. Another tech did the wrenching, I just did the tuning.
2020 Road Glide 107”, ventilator extreme air cleaner, short Bassani 2-1, Andrews 465 cam and stock everything else. Really woke the little 107 up. Customer had a huge grin on his face when he left. lol

Another bike that a shop in Dallas brought to me for tuning. I didn’t do any of the work, other than tuning.

2015 FLTRXS, S&S 110” kit, S&S 585 cams, stock TB, 5.3 injectors, Ness air cleaner, Zippers ported heads and D&D 2-1 exhaust.
Not sure why the customer opted for ported heads but then kept the stock TB

Not yet, that I know of. I do have another tune tomorrow but that’s a gen1 M8 and I think I have 2 tunes booked for next week already but I don’t know what they are yet.

Here’s an example of the wrong cam for the engine size but the customer just wanted the sound more than numbers.

2018 RK 107”, And485, agitator AC, KW Agressor headpipe and KW mufflers with no baffles, stock all else

I didn’t build this, a dealership down south by the border did. I guess they charged the guy for a Dyno tune and all they did was put an auto tune module in it and ride it around.

2024 CVORGST with a Harley 135” kit, no changes made to the kit, Wedge air filter and a Khromewerks 2-1 Outlaw.

Red is the arriving map (SE tuner and auto tune module)
Blue is my tune with an Impact replacement ECM.

Another one from today. I didn’t do the wrenching, a shop up by Dallas did, I just did the tuning.
2016 FLTRUSE 110”, Red Shift 587 cams, Trask AC and a D&D 2-1.

Natural 110” engines never seem to be amazing, numbers wise. I think it’s because of their naturally low compression ratio. The bolt on 110” kit I did on the crossbones made more numbers but I attribute that to the different / better pistons.

I think my 110" is 105hp and 115tq - that's all the tuner could get out of it before the Rekluse auto clutch I had in it would drag. But that's good enough for me and how I just want a toruing bike that has the grunt to pass a semi whan needed

Before: 107”, 55mm manifold, Maxcell cam (don’t know which one), wedge AC and shorty Bassani 2-1

After: 122”, Andrews 485, same 55mm manifold, 5.5 injectors, same wedge AC and a Trask 2-1

What would your choice of tuner be for a 24 center cooled bike? I've got all my parts ready to install, just stashing a little extra cash away to be ready to get a tuner and then bring in for a tune. PV is supposedly available now with PV3 or PV4 (don't know which one I'd get). Just wondering if that is the way to go or if the Impact is worth the extra $.

I haven’t used the new PV on a center cooled bike yet so I can’t give you an honest answer as to whether or not it’s as good or better than Impact. I’m supposed to be putting a Stage 2 in a floor bike (tomorrow or maybe Tuesday) and trying the new PV with it. I’ll post up in this thread when I have results.

This is my bike, in its second iteration.
2023 FLHXST 131”, Andrews 554, gen2 CNC heads, 68mm TB and manifold, 6.2 injectors, P&A ram air cleaner and KW Outlaw 2-1.

It’ll be on here again when I try the other 2, bigger cams

Another one from today. Unknown combination (customer bought it used) but looking at the parts, it appears to be a Harley 107 to 119 kit. I added a wedge air cleaner and a long Bassani 2-1

One from this morning for a re-tune.
2020 CVORG. Unknown parts combination other than it was built 4 years ago and tuned. I know it’s a 131” with a stealth headpipe under stock heat shields and OEM CVO mufflers with a different baffle of some kind. I made no physical changes.

One from this morning. I didn’t build it, the customer did the work. I also made no physical changes; just removed the FP3 map and tuned with PV.
2017 RGS 107”, Rinehart AC, Rinehart Slimline duals and Andrews 460 cam
