@crazy4ink Right On Murph!
Tell Landon Thanks from All of Us.

This is Landon. Murph and I are looking forward to helping as many of y’all as we can. I will be happy to speak to you and discuss that you would like done and when. You can reach out to me here or give me a shout at the shop. 512-652-1200

And I DO NOT share what forum the dynos are from when I share by screenshot, as trying to keep all of them demigods away! 🙄
I don't know why you implied that this was meant to be shared elsewhere outside of this forum; suggesting such should have been asked prior from the person making the offer. Seeing as you are forum savvy to try to go and post elsewhere for whatever bravado, there really is no excuse.

You are here on this forum to escape the rift raft of other forums, you don't have a Road Glide, yet you immediately wandered over to the rift raft to share in the good grace of those good folks here trying to help other good people out. I would suggest you delete your posts and admit your error in judgement on the rift raft forum. Then say sorry.

Admin or not - it was wrong on many levels and I have no shame in saying such.

@grwil67 - you even point the rift raft straight here. Your other posts came afterwards, a day later, with time to think about it. IMO - not cool.

Sorry, Murph.

Thanks, once again, for Your Very Generous Offer.

If it was my bike and I was staying with 114”, I would do the Andrews 485 all day long. If I knew I was going to 128” or bigger and either ported heads with high lift springs or stock heads with high lift springs, I’d go with the Andrews 554 or Star F35.
Are you seeing much difference between the Andrews 485 and the Star 30/30 (MHP-485)? I didn't know if the Andrews was pretty much the same grind as the Star.

Thems peak numbers. Without digging back through 12 pages of sheets. Cause I’m lazy. Which one hit first and or stayed in the torque the longest?
This was my MHP-485 (star 30/30) with the S&S Sidewinder 2-1 and SE 64mm TB & Manifold

That’s looks really close to the Andrews. We have the same exhaust but I have the 55mm still so I should make a bit more torque. But when the numbers are that close. Who cares. It’s the feel and the usefulness of the power hitting when and where you want it. So far my little blast out front with the Andrews 485. I think I’ll like it.

Fixed another one today. Customer came in with his 2019 RGS 114 for me to fix. He has a Rinehart air cleaner, full Rinehart exhaust, an S&S 465 and FP3.

Now, in my experience, the 465 is a great cam in a 107. In a 107, it’s what a 475 is in a 114. Doesn’t work well at all in a 114. So I changed the cam out to a 475 and tuned it with power vision. Only other change I made to the bike was switching mismatched spark plugs (NGK iridiums on the left and stock Harley plugs on the right) to all stock 6R10 plugs. No other changes.

Been following for quite a while and have a question if you tune using Thundermax.
If you have a TMax you really shouldn't need a dyno tune. If you are having any issues just do a couple of learning sesssions and re-write over the top each time and you should be as good as gold. The TMax really is great at this. I had one on my 2018 and it ran perfect with the TMax and I also have a couple of buds that will not use anything else but a TMax. Very user friendly and also has great customer support. If you want a dyno pull to get your peak performance numbers just to see where you are at that's fine, but the TMax is always working to make your engine run at its best.

Damn Rob, couldn’t have been the Dyno guy when you were 10 miles up the street, now I have to ride to Texas-just my luck! 🤣🤣🤣

Seriously keep up all the good work, this has been a great informative thread

Always appreciate your unbiased input
@madmat I guess New England was too cold for Him Matt😁
I know I’d be in Texas if I could.

If they would have had a dyno, I would have happily done it! Lol. But, after Alaska for a few years, central PA for 7 years, Green Bay for 5 years and MA for a year, I’m tired of shoveling snow! 😂

Thanks for your input Ken. I’ve used ThunderMax auto-map many times as well as fine tuning the timing and fuel to address acceleration / deceleration in and out of corners. Addressed at appropriate throttle positions and it runs strong, I’m not complaining at all.

PowerVision is on my 13 RG and I have worked with that as well. I just want a direct comparison on drivability between the two on the M8 so my question to Murph.
