Dyno pulls I’ve done

I’m going to try and continue to post to this thread as I tune bikes at work. The goal of this is to show what numbers I’m getting out of what combinations here in Texas. Not saying I’m the be all, end all of tuners, just want to share with everyone. Most of the time, here lately, because of the extreme heat, I’ve been going in around 6am to tune. These are all done with a Dynojet chassis dyno and power vision maps / tuners. None of these graphs I post will be Screamin Eagle street tuners, Thundermax or TTS, unless noted. I try to put text in each pic so you know the combination used. They won’t only be Road Glides and some I don’t remember all the parts I use. If I say “Harley 131 kit” and don’t list anything specific, then it’s just as the kit comes. I will make it a point to highlight what parts I do change.

I hope everyone enjoys this and feel free to ask questions. I’ll do my best to answer / remember the bikes. Lol.

One from today. I didn’t do any physical work on this bike, I just retuned it. Was originally running an SE street tuner and SE auto tune module. Now it’s running a PV tune with the SE auto tune module.

2023 FXLRST 117”, S&S 475, S&S 55mm manifold, stock injectors, Feuling BA air cleaner, Sawicki mid length 2-1. Gained 10hp and 8tq from where it was

One from today. Bike was built and tuned there in Montana where the customer lived at the time. He moved here and wasn’t happy with how it ran. I took the SE 90° air cleaner off and installed an S&S mini tear drop air cleaner. No other physical changes were made, just changed it from the SE pro tuner to PV.

2013 FLHX 120R crate motor, S&S mini tear drop air cleaner and Rinehart true duals.

Customer’s from this morning.
2023 FLTRK 114”

Blue is before: SE-447 cam, P&A high flow air filter under the OEM cover, stock headpipe and KW mufflers. Tuned with Street tuner.

Red is after: Woods 22-XE cam, wedge air cleaner KW hideaway headpipe and the same KW mufflers but a louvered baffle in the right side only. Tuned with Power Vision

I didn’t do any physical work to this one, a shop up by Dallas did all the work and brought it to me for tuning.

2010 FLHX S&S 124” crate engine with their 640 gear drive cams, SE 58mm throttlebody, Feuling 5.7 injectors and Boarzilla. Tuned with TTS. Gained 13hp and 14tq.

One I’m playing around with for another dealer. They did all the work, I just installed the IWS ECM and started tuning. Not sure it’ll make much more than this. This is also 6th gear, which I don’t normally do. On a side note; 163mph at 6,200 rpms. Lol

2024 FLTRX 117”, stock TB and injectors, wedge air cleaner, Star M28 cam, full length Bassani and Impact ECM

That cam with that combo just built a torque plateau!

Brand new 2025 CVO 121” (not a CVORGST), Reaper 538 cam, P&A ram air, short Bassani and IWS ECM.
Murph nice graph with barely the initial dip even with the shorter 2-1. Have you noticed any real performance differences between the short and full length 2-1’s on the graph in that respect and is there one that you feel does better over the others (HPi, Bassani, Sawicki, FAB28 etc)

Low Rider ST coming in strong.

2023 FXLRST 132”, stock heads with hi lift springs, Andrews 554, 64mm TB and manifold, 5.5 injectors, Trask AC and Bassani 2-1

2022 FXLRST 128”, 55mm TB and manifold, Andrews 485, stock heads, 5.5 injectors, wedge air cleaner, shorty Bassani 2-1
There's a stump puller. Larger TB/manifold would yield higher hp but lose tq. Comes down to do hit the wall faster or move the wall farther.

Customer did his own work, I just fixed some small mistakes and then tuned it.
2018 FLTRX 107”, S&S 465 cam, V&H naked air cleaner and short Bassani 2-1.

Customer’s from this morning.
2022 FLHXS 114”, SE-447 (Harley torque cam), ventilator air cleaner, SE street cannon mufflers and KW headpipe.

In the arriving tube pull, same setup but with the stock catted headpipe. Only physical change was going to the KW headpipe. The rest was changing from the SE tuner to Power Vision.

Fair to say the head pipe improvement was minimal and the Powervision and the man behind the curtain accounted for majority of the gains?

One from today. Built by someone else and originally tuned by someone else. I made NO physical changes, just retuned it as it sat.

2021 FLTRXS 131”, Trask A/C and D&D 2-1

2023 FLTRXS 131”, stock heads, Andrews 485 cam, 64mm TB and manifold, 5.5 inj, wedge AC and mid length Bassani 2-1.

This is one of our “budget 131” builds and I only say that because we used the stock heads instead of getting the SE CNC heads that normally come in a 131 kit.
