Dyno pulls I’ve done

I’m going to try and continue to post to this thread as I tune bikes at work. The goal of this is to show what numbers I’m getting out of what combinations here in Texas. Not saying I’m the be all, end all of tuners, just want to share with everyone. Most of the time, here lately, because of the extreme heat, I’ve been going in around 6am to tune. These are all done with a Dynojet chassis dyno and power vision maps / tuners. None of these graphs I post will be Screamin Eagle street tuners, Thundermax or TTS, unless noted. I try to put text in each pic so you know the combination used. They won’t only be Road Glides and some I don’t remember all the parts I use. If I say “Harley 131 kit” and don’t list anything specific, then it’s just as the kit comes. I will make it a point to highlight what parts I do change.

I hope everyone enjoys this and feel free to ask questions. I’ll do my best to answer / remember the bikes. Lol.

Second bike today; salesman’s 2019 FLHXS 114. Added the high flow air cleaner, Khromewerks headpipe, Andrews 465B cam and reused his Street Cannon mufflers.

Just a graphic “food for thought”

Red is 135” crate engine with Andrews 554, 68mm TB and manifold, 7.2 injectors, diesel air filter and Khromewerks 2-into-1

Blue is 131”, Andrews 554 cam, D&D 2-into-1, diesel AC, 5.5 injectors, 64mm TB and manifold

Both bikes in 5th gear with my 220 pound butt sitting on it and 15% load

Bike was a 114 but came in with scored cylinders and bad flywheels. Replaced the bottom end and I had some new, take off 117 cylinders and pistons. Put those on with a new cam. Customer wouldn’t let us change the Big Radius exhaust out though.

Purple Heart recipient came in today and bought a bike he’s wanted for 2 years. Wanted bars, docking hardware, cam, some stuff from his trade in and a tune. Was a mad thrash all day but I made.

Parts & Accessories. Basically just the high flow filter and open backing plate that fits under the OEM air cleaner cover. I use the term “P&A air cleaner” whenever it’s a basic high flow setup versus one of the complete air cleaner assemblies. Depending on which complete setup I use, I try to put the name of it also.

I’ve used more of the Andrews 554 than I have the others you mentioned. The CR cams I’ve used have been smaller ones and have performed well. I’ve only dyno tuned one F35 equipped engine and I didn’t build that engine at all, it was brought to me by another dealer for one of their customers.

I have found, so far, that for stock heads / stock springs, I like the Andrews 485 as a bolt in cam.
For CNC heads / high lift springs, the Andrews 554 and Feuling Reaper 592 make the smoothest / best curves.

Ugh. So as I was about to just buy the RS 468 for Barbs trike, I decided it made more money sense to just buy a new cam for my impending 128” build. So there’s a new Andrews 485 cam on the way.

Note to self. When you get up at 1am to pee. Don’t look at your phone and start shopping.

Cuatomer came in with his 2017 Limited. Was built with the 107 to 128 Harley kit. No changes made to kit at all. Customer had added the SE headpipe and the catted SE mufflers when it was built.

Same bike. Blue is tuned with the SE Street Tuner. Red is my tune with Power Vision.

Brand new Low Rider S with an S&S 128 kit, S&S 475 cam, 5.5 injectors, stock high flow elbow and a TBR shorty 2-into-1. Left it a little on the rich side because it’s a new build.

Just finished this one up. Customer would not let me change from his existing Arlen Ness air cleaner or Rinehart mufflers. Couldn’t get rid of that dip, didn’t matter what I changed.
S&S 132, Feuling 521 cam, stock heads with high lift springs, 64mm TB and manifold, 5.5 injectors and Khromewerks headpipe.
