Dyno pulls I’ve done

I’m going to try and continue to post to this thread as I tune bikes at work. The goal of this is to show what numbers I’m getting out of what combinations here in Texas. Not saying I’m the be all, end all of tuners, just want to share with everyone. Most of the time, here lately, because of the extreme heat, I’ve been going in around 6am to tune. These are all done with a Dynojet chassis dyno and power vision maps / tuners. None of these graphs I post will be Screamin Eagle street tuners, Thundermax or TTS, unless noted. I try to put text in each pic so you know the combination used. They won’t only be Road Glides and some I don’t remember all the parts I use. If I say “Harley 131 kit” and don’t list anything specific, then it’s just as the kit comes. I will make it a point to highlight what parts I do change.

I hope everyone enjoys this and feel free to ask questions. I’ll do my best to answer / remember the bikes. Lol.

Here is @RoosterMan and his 103 Twinkie with Woods 222, high flow air cleaner and a Pro Pipe. She fought me tooth and nail but I’m proud of the results.

Customer’s 103 RGS from today. Already had some no name slip on mufflers on the stock headpipe. Added a Ventilator air cleaner and S&S 585 cams with a billet plate and pump. Gained 18hp and 19tq. Customer should be happy.

Customer’s stock 2022 Street Glide 114 from this morning. All it has is a Vance and Hines true dual headpipe with 4” mufflers (really helped the torque) and a SE ventilator air cleaner.

Just a plain 107, all stock except for a P&A air cleaner and the SVT boneshakers he already had. Added a Khromewerks 2-2 exhaust and reused the same mufflers.

2004 Deuce. Was an 88”, now a 103”, stock throttlebody and injectors, Andrews TW55 cams, P&A air cleaner and V&H Longshots

2023 FLHXST 117, Woods 777XE cam, 5.5 injectors, HPI 62mm ram air, Sawicki short 2-1.
This was a first for me. I’ve squared engines off but never dead nuts even to the hundredths place. Lol

Customer came in stating “you tuned my bike back in March and I changed whole exhaust to this cooler one and now it stumbles. Your tune sucks”
Retuned his bike and showed him how much his coolness cost him in money and performance.
Red is where is was with the full exhaust and KW mufflers. Blue is where is now is with his “cool” exhaust.

@crazy4ink - I do my best to avoid this thread as when I rip the FatBob...all I can think is "there is so much more in there...I know it" - All good rocking the Sofa stock but that damn FXFB makes me want to drop the bike off with $5K and say "get the most ya can outta 'er" - Thank the good lord you live MANY states away

Makes for a much better road trip story. Just book the damn appointment already

Customer brought in his “fast as hell” 2023 CVO with the VVT 121. I made a pull with his bike (red) as it sat; wedge air cleaner, SE tuner and Sawicki short 2-1.
Then I showed him what my 110” Twin Cam Crossbones put down (blue).
Now we’re pulling his bike apart for a 135” engine. Lol

I will tell you that I have tuned bikes with (insert air cleaner here) and then put the extreme wedge on and I consistently see +7 hp and +5 tq minimum. And then I have go and retune the bike because it’s lean and wants more fuel.

Both but mostly the Rushmore M8s since I can actually tune them with a third party tuner. On center cooled bikes, since I can only use the SE tuner, I’ve seen roughly 5hp and 3tq
How bad do Lowers impact actual air intake? - The only thing I like about the stock AC on my '22 RGL is it has that front facing opening which directly lines up with the open lower faring vent - Curious what you see out of others running different ACs

Almost forgot.....What'sUp Brotha...How Ya been? - How's that Bones comin along?

Hard to tell how much fairing lowers impact airflow since the dyno has 1 large fan on either side. I would agree that air being directed in through the open vents is always a good thing. I’m always amazed how many people ride around with the vents closed all the time.
