Went for a ride the other night and when i came home and shut off 2000 RG the headlights, tail light, guage lights and oil dummy light all stayed on. It appeared as if the ignition switch was one click to the right. What could be causing this? I thought it was the ignition switch but removed it completely and it's doing the same thing. Anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2000 Road glide? Thanks Rich

Did you also remove the three wires from the back of the ignition, the big red ones or just the knob? Doc

Hey HD Doc- yeah I took off the whole switch and nothing changed. All lights and oil dummy light still on.

Found the problem! The same ignition wires were rubbing the belt drive under the battery box some how. I repaired and rerouted the wires AWAY from belt. It is back together and running sweet for $0 very nice
