I had a nice ride today through the Mts. of Malibu today. I took a couple roads I have never been on today. I took Topanga Cyn. through the hills from the San Fernando Valley to the Pacific Coast Highway. I've done that a thousand times but it was pretty overcast so I took a road back up into the mountains that was pretty twisty but the slow pace really made me relax. It was Los Flores to Piuma if any body googles, then I ended up on Mullholand Hwy which again I've been on a lot, you can't live in So. Cal. and not do that road but I didn't turn off like I normally do I took it all the way back to PCH and it let me out just south of where I was headed, a fish place called Neptunes Net. Its a pretty popular summer stop just north of the Ventura county line. when I left I headed north to a road i ride a lot but this time instead of getting on the interstate I took Potrero Rd. it winds through some farm land and took me Back to the SFV without putting me in five lanes of traffic jam and then back home after some lunch at a mexican place I've never been to called Ciscos in Westlake. I must say they make good carnitas. All & all a very relaxing day about 120 nice quiet miles hope everyone else enjoyed there day. Here are a couple pics. one from the mts. looking at the Pacific Ocean and one at Neptunes I wish we could upload them a little bigger. http://www.roadglide.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=1166&stc=1&d=1275267342http://www.roadglide.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=1165&stc=1&d=1275267342
