OH BOY, this is gonna be a long thread lol, its all a matter of taste but as for the deepest I ever heard the new magnaflow were the deepest sound I ever heard on a v twin nice sounding exhaust if you like true duals, as for loud im gonna say most likely CFRs mufflers or thunderheader slip ons. Here we go!

I suggest you replace your headpipe, or remove the cat first. Your motor comes from the factory running too hot and lean. "Best" is subjective. Are you concerned about performance, looks, tone, or dB level? You'll get minor improvements in all those categories if you replace the headpipe FIRST. And the motor will be running cooler. That means longer engine life, and comfort while idling.

Nobody's going to agree on the "best" slip-ons. If it's just LOUDER you're after- and don't care about performance, you can gut the baffles and have straight pipes. Doesn't get much louder than that. And when you open the exhaust end, you need to open up the intake as well. Then flash the ECU for your modifications. We can't get by with re-jetting the carb, and adjusting the timing by ear anymore.

Rather than posing your question to the masses, you can search thru the exhaust section of the forum. Your questions have been asked and answered thousands of times already.

Go to www.Youtube.com and listen to different varieties of exhaust combo's or go to your local bike night and see what you prefer the sound of best. I do have CFR mufflers myself, they are loud and deep, more so than most people like, but that's my taste!

I *almost* pulled the trigger on the Ness/Magnaflow duals in Sturgis, but I got the Freedom Performance "Combat" true duals for about $400 less. That, of course- was for the complete exhaust.

If I had not just put MGS slip on mufflers with the loud baffle on my glide I was definitely looking hard on the magnaflow, but I must say I am very happy with my choice, louder than my 4 inch rineharts but in a good way, fits my taste perfectly.
