glue went gooey?

Didjer glue go gooey? Mine did - I had the fairing apart to put in the J&M Audio 7.25" speakers and had a hard time getting the fairing to come back together. The acoustic foam made it a little harder, but then the molding or edge trim kept slipping out of place. The glue is sticky, but slippery at the same time. Would a dealer have this stuff on a roll, where you could buy several feet of it?

Curious as to what the outcome was here? I have had this problem pretty much since day 1. dealer repaired it 3 times, now it's out of warranty and looks as shitty as ever wtf? If there are 2 things the moco should fix on this bike it's this cheap molding set up and the dumbass windhshield mounting rubber crap nuts.

Try this. I have it on my ride, and it works really well. It's thicker than the OEM gasket and goes on without the sticky adhesive to hold it. You can also use automotive door trim, which can also be used on your shield if your running one there.

Hope that helps.

Xtrim worked great for me. I don't worry about the molding at all after using Xtrim. Price may be steep, but it was worth it to me.....
