By itself, I prefer the lines on the Half Breed.
I would need to see.the whole bike to see if it is still the one I prefer.

Now that I look at your pics again, that OG looks awfully similar. Wonder if it's the same?

 

Gotta be the half breed. It has the straight/level cut across the bottom edge which is very Harley-esque. At the same time it is obviously a custom wrap fender. Best of both worlds.

 

my thoughts exactly. the level cut on the bottom looks harley. the curved looks metric. imo anyway.

If you put your bike in wheel chock at all, make sure you check the clearance, or you might end up needing paint work after.

I would wonder if I ever used a Wheel chock like a Condor which would hit.

 

I had a klock werks wrapper on my 19 SG and found out the hard way. I had to modify the chock entry rocker thing by cutting the wings down so the fender would clear.

 

My vote is for the Half Breed.

 

Fender is one of the major things holding be back from a wide front in on the Trike. I just do not like the wrapped look.

 

I understand this. I remember the first time I really noticed a wrap fender. I wasn't really sure about it when used on a magnum-sized RGL. It took me a while (and some looking/evaluating) before I finally decided to go for it. I still have my original fender and occasionally look at it. Always confirms I did the right thing.

For those with these wrapped fenders, how well do they keep rain/debris off the bike/rider compared to the stock fuller/fat fender? Obviously some styles offer less protection with a higher cut.

 

Probably no fender offers more protection than the Rushmore front unit. I feel like my wrap fender does a pretty fair job of shielding things, but I’m sure it’s not ultimately as good as the oem. This was a non factor in my decision however.
