My radio and gps have been working pretty much ok once everything was set up. I do ride without a helmet so that might be one difference.

However tonight I finally downloaded a bunch of songs through Amazon and hooked up my phone-bluetooth and it sounded great at first but then I noticed every 10 or 15 seconds it would skip, nothing/silent skip for half a second and then continue every 15 seconds thereafter.

WTF?

Thanks, didnt seem to matter, had it on the seat and then set it against the gauges. Didn't try the glove-box though.

You may have something, bluetooth is sensitive but I didnt figure that much. I'll give that a go.
