I've had a tour pak for a couple of years and decided to replace the original backrest pad with a C&C Banana pad. This along with using a hidden antenna now leave several visible holes. I'm wanting to fill the holes and repaint the pak. I've read several post here and on other forums regarding this. It seems that there are lots of options if you know what type of material the pak is - I have no idea - plastic to me is all the same. I've read that "bondo" will not hold. I did find this product on another site: http://www.plast-aid.com/ . Has anyone used this or another product they can recommend?

Thanks

Yep, your local auto body supply store will set you up with the correct repair material in a smaller single use applicator.

If the inside of the lid is gray it is the fiberglass based SMC material, if it is black it is PPO/GTX (not ABS!)

Each one takes a totally different repair process

Btw, I notice that the all new 2014 tourpac bottom half is made of the older pre 2004 GTX fiberglass, the lid is still the plastic GTX
