I finally picked up my saddlebags from the painter today...and of course as soon as I put them on the bike took it in for its 30k service lol. Anyway I just wanted to post the pics of the paint. This guy Mike did a great job and was extra careful with it since it's a memorial piece. Told me since it took so long he is going to hook me up when I get the stripe removed this winter.

Cem, I'm sorry for your loss. Nice tribute to Jo. I'm sure she'd be pleased.

Thanks guys.
The back story is my wife passed away about 7 months ago...she enjoyed riding alomost as much as I do. For about a year before she passed she was constantly on me to buy a new bike but with time constraints and money issues I felt it wasn't the right time. Lessons we learn.

Seriously thanks guys. It took a couple of months before I could figure out how I wanted her portrait to be put on the bike. It was the painters idea to do two seperate pics. He was very thoughtful and considerate along every step of the painting process....He redid the rosie the riveter pose 4 times for me till I was happy with it. And I am not at all ashamed to admit that I cried when I put the bags back on the bike at his shop. If anyone needs quality work at a good price from a painter whois not a diva. Look up Mike at Krazy Sprayz here in Richmond Va. 804-338-5145

Great looking work

Great looking paint. Tribute pieces are always cool, it keeps those folks that have passed with us, and that's a good thing.
