It's a one-off custom '04. A guy I ride with bought it from the dealer that built it, and had it for several years. He sold it, and the second owner had it for a while and wrecked it. He fixed it, sold it, and my friend lost track of it after that.
He said it was a spectacular ride, absolutely one of the most enjoyable bikes he's ever had.
Well, except for the 80 mile cruising range.

Didn't know there was an actual kit available.
I've always thought that a VRod motor in a touring bike would be pretty cool.

Sweet Bagger V Rod!!!!
If I had the $$$$ I'd have a V-Rod with that RG kit. One of the guys I know has over 100,000 trouble free miles on his V-Rod. He tours 1 up, and it's really not a 2 up touring rig.

That's one ugly attempt at a touring bike but again everybody that doesn't own one says that about our Road Glides also . I personally never thought the V-Rod fit the Harley design image. I rarely see them in my neck of the woods. Dealers around here don't really carry them either. They do stock Street Glides in bulk though like every other dealer.

They have a larger tank option for them . Fits under the seat same as the stock one.

I still think it's a hell of a neat idea. I'd buy one, as long as it had that larger tank.
