Traded the StreetBob in on a '16 RG and am learning all I can on this barge - Been a week on it now and Winter is still hanging about in Chicago but I have managed about 100 miles on 'er so far

Reading all I can before I begin dumping $$ into it and thanks in advance for all the insight - Been on bikes for over (40) years (most in the Dirt) and on some sort of HD for over (10) but the RG is my first Bagger.

Thx Lads - Was time for me to get to the next level so figured "why not" - Did not want a "Me Too" Glide and love the Frame Mount Faring look so I ponied up a few sheckles and made it happen

Doing the usual research on exhausts and such - Not out to chase HP and lose with $$ but need to open it up a bit - Never owned a bike with a radio before.......pretty wild indeed

Focus on what will make you comfortable first - taller windshield?, different seat?, different handlebars?, or whatever works for you ergonomically.

We had 33, snow, hail, rain and sunshine in a span of 4 hours on Sat and I was riding in Sunny and 70 on Sun - Must love the Midwest.....
