Just received my 14" dark gray Freedom Shield the other day. Went back and forth between that and my 2011 CVO windshield. Seems there is a little less wind with the Freedom Shield. I will have a better report after the ride to Sturgis, but that might be all there is to say. Quality made windshield, but it took a month to get.

Freedom 13"

Really like my FS, incredible quality, clarity and top curve. Problem is line of sight is right at top of shield. Considering Madstad...

14" Freedom Shield in Dark Grey

Okay, after 2500 miles, I think this is a very good windshield.
The clarity of this windshield is excellent. Like a cars windshield.
The curved portion of the windshield deflects the wind adequately even at speeds exceeding 80mph. The thickness and quality make this shield stand out from the apologetic offerings from windvest and the like. Its better than OEM type quality and I'm proud to have it on my RG. I was very comfortable cruising home at 80mph for hours and hours!

It comes with Klockworks wellnuts.

I choose the Dark Grey color which is an excellent compliment to my Orange paint, But it does have its drawbacks at night because its dark. But if i'm not slouching I see over it by several inches. I really liked the 14" height when I was in a viscious downpour in Rapid City, SD. Had to hide behind it when the rain was coming in sideways. The cars and I were all along the side of the road waiting it out.
