My bike is an 01 Road Glide. I have a chrome front end but desire a black one.
Should I just buy a front end or send mine to be powdercoated or painted? I was looking at JP cycles and I couldnt seem to find a complete front end in Black. and I am not sure what all I would need to replace any how. Just looking for some Ideas right now. any help is appreciated

Contact member Jetman. He does powdercoating and usually has some he can send to you and you send him yours back.

Or you can just take yours off and send them top a powder coating shop if you can deal with the down time. This would be a great time to upgrade your suspension if you haven't already. Other than that you would just need to put in new fork seals and new crush washers for the damper rod bolts and your set.

Definitely go for powdercoating! jmho. Just had mine done two weeks ago and they look great. Still not installed, but that is another story. Do the work yourself, it's really not that difficult as long as you get your hands on a manual and have some mechanical know how. Good luck!
