Figured I would add an inspirational pic
After what you went through getting that bolt out, the DD fairing drop will be a piece of cake! You will love the look with that native fat tire kit! My personal favorite, had it for 2 years and would be my first mod on a new bike! Not to throw a wrench in, but did you go with the flush axle? Its a must have for that big, sexy front end!

SOB's are metric 6.5 that are hard to find. I used 6.0 with plastic baggie as filler. Worked great.
Not metric, you need the 1/4 SAE. Get the correct allen wrench size and they easily come off. I just replaced my front fender yesterday, bike is a 2015 with 160,000 miles on it. Front fender was showing rust so replaced it so things look new again.
