You should be thinking about getting the service manual for your bike and some tools and start doing the work on your bike yourself. ;)
Hopefully this time the bike is fixed!

Oh I got the manual, and I do almost all my own stuff. I was just too nervous to tear the primary off and the trans. But what the heck, I could have figured out how to replace EVERYTHING too haha.

Kyle , once you are out riding if it's truly fixed this time , you will forget about it . I had a problem on my last bike , it would run , get hot and shut down . Three months later and $2500 later they found out I had a fuse that had cracked but wasn't blown. It was arcing out of the crack onto the frame which made the PC III I had on the bike tell the bike it was over heating and the bike would stop running . An hour later it would crank and run for a while. Today I can laugh at my $2500 fuse , I hope one day you can look back and laugh at your $4000 oil leak. Good luck !!

Keep this in mind, there isn't one person on this forum who was born with all the knowledge they have today,i used to never work on my bikes when i first started to ride, but i got tired of paying money i didn't have to get it fixed,so i bought a manual and tore into my first repair, got stuck a couple of times so i started to make phone calls until i found someone to help, taking the outer and inner primary off is a lot easier than you may think. As far as the trans, worst case pull it and take it to someone to fix .I have been where you are at so don't feel like you are alone.

I appreciate it guys!

I gotta find a scrap blown 96" or 103" engine complete that I can tinker with ha.

We made it to Akron Ohio last night (headed for the m&g ride) which is a little over 250 miles and it was all good. I'll admit I'm scared to go look under that bike this morning haha.

Yeah haha. I'm on my way back from the Ohio meet and greet ride now, I was well known as "the guy that had all the problems" lol. At an HD dealer now because my friends throttle cable on his SG broke last night. Just adds to our normal luck ha. We used the return throttle cable as the main to get it moving, with the help of pfwiz and mattceres.
