Well, like the title says, fuel gauge goes to full and stays there when ignition switches on, I'm assuming a bad wire somewhere, so where do I start hunting it down? Also the air temp gauge is erratic, and seems to coincide with throttle input, the air gauge is more of a nuisance but I'd really like to have a working fuel gauge so I don't spend time walking lol. Bike is an 03 injected model.

Get a wiring diagram. Then start checking circuits. Fuel gauge get battery voltage at key on. Fuel sender supplies a variable ground to move the needle. Start by checking for voltage at the sender wire at the sender. If you see battery voltage, ground it and see if the needle moves.

Beyond checking the voltage at the gauge, I got nothing on the air temp. But it sounds like a ground issue.
