So far the black chrome is holding up pretty well. Bugs seem to stick a lot less than on the chrome. No nicks yet Even the acorn nut for the mirrors held up. Just watch how many coats of basecoat you use or it just turns into flat black. Got about 300 miles on the stuff so far.
Fuel tank console
Has anyone changed out that gawd awful chrome, sunlight reflecting, eye killing fuel tank console to something more subdued ? I've already had the fuel filler door powder coated wrinkle black and that helped some. Guess it's time to buy an extra center console and have it powder coated too.
