I stopped at a big stereo shop while at the coast this weekend looking for a small amp that could stand the elements and they have a 70 watt Fusion Marine that they install in jet skis and on 4 wheelers, it is very small and has a 3 year warrenty.
I got it put in this afternoon and boy is there a big difference, it woke up the J&Ms, brought the wife outside sayin she had heard enough Meatloaf for the day...so I guess it was worth the money...$120.00 fit in the fairing with no problem. of course I paid retail got home and found them online for as low as $79.00 but it in and Im happy..

Right side under the guages vertical. I drilled 2 small holes and used 8mm allen heads with chrome acron nuts. I am going to swap tem for black nuts tomorrow then you will not notice them.
I did a google on it and found it for $70.00 with free shipping.
You could use velcroe im sure but the roads around here are rough and I did not want it to viberate loose going down the road.

careful with fusion equipment. i worked at a dealer for several years and their amps have been known to overheat.

for the price though, you cant complain much. especially given the warranty. if you have any pics of the install id love to see it.

fyi you have a warranty because you bought it at retail.

Most reputable manufacturer's do not honor the warranty when purchased online.

If you're happy with the results then great, if you weren't and you bought it online you'd have been s.o.l. in several ways.

I always recommend buying electronics from a reputable authorized dealer. This way you get support, warranties handled in person, you get to see and handle the merchandise before you buy, possibly get to hear it before you buy, and you have a professional that can offer advice to you in person.

As an industry advocate, Sales manager for the 3rd largest Auto Security manufacturer, and a Manufacturer Representative for 9 different companies, I would only recommend buying online if your local dealer cannot offer any of the above advantages.

absolutely agree. i install countless items people bring in, and countless times they are pissed off when they are stuck with a product they do not like or that does not function properly.
