Myself and couple friends are going for a ride this weekend up into the Finger Lakes Region, specifically heading through Watkins Glen and on up North to the Geneva area. Plans are to swing by the HD Shop and look around a few, then head over to have lunch on the lake at a place called The Crows Nest before heading back for home.
Anyone ever had lunch/dinner at this place, if so, how is it? We do this trip every year in the fall at some point and like to try and find some different places to eat, so this was the choice for this years run up.
Will post some pics next week after we get back.

Well, we had a great day on Sat. 3 bikes and 5 people made the 420 mile round trip a day. We ended up stoping at Geneva HD Shop, looked around some, then headed to the Crow's Nest for lunch on the lake, which was pretty good. From lunch we headed to 3 Brother's Winery/Brewery (War Horse Brewery), what a cool place that was before heading for home.

That is a great ride. We took 4 bikes up there last year and did one side of the lake one day, and the other the second day.

We did get a kick out of the looks we got from the patrons at the Belhurst. ;)

Where in PA you from Freaky? I'm in the NE

Crow's Nest is on the North East Corner of the lake off 96A. You should be able to google it for more specifics. Good food, nice place, nothing fancy really, but we had really good service and were treated great. We also have stoped in the past at the Southern end of the lake at Seneca Harbor Station, this place is really nice and really good food too. We try to find different places each year.

Thanks ! I checked it out on-line. It's part of the area we'll be riding in.
Passed though the area in July heading up to the Adirondacks, but motels were jammed and traffic was heavy, so I didn't investigate the local food scene.

Hobart

I went to school at Hobart up in Geneva. It's a long cold winter season up there that seems to stretch from Oct into April...but the late spring, summer and early fall riding weather is great. And it is really beautiful riding around those lakes.

Anyone looking for some nice upstate roads will be happy there.
