so I'm thinking about installing some ghost brackets but I'm concerned about the stability and the weight of the extra inner fairing speakers I've added
does anyone have any thoughts about whether or not the ghost brackets will be strong enough to hold the extra weight.

Define strong enough. Having speakers in your inner limits the type of hidden brace that you can even use. Hells Foundry, Dirty Bird, and Trask all make hidden brackets but expect some vibration. This can lead to everything from annoying squeaks to stripped out screws. The Yaffe one looks most sturdy but it isn't quite "hidden." I ran $90 Hells Foundry brackets for two years and besides a little squeaking found them fine. However, I didn't have speakers in my inner. Good luck to you!
