These will not be the finalized until June. I want to take some time to get some of the participants and those familiar with the area to view the rides ad to provide some feedback.

Great routes, Chris. Good things to stop and see along the way. Day 1 will be very long and very enjoyable. Day 2 = CURVES. I'm out of practice riding Pennsylvania curves. Be sure to issue a warning that the right side of all 2-lane roads are reserved for pot holes. New York and Vermont will be fun.

Hear that Road Glide in your driveway? That's me. I'm a little early.

On Day 1 we stop at the PA Grand Canyon. Which side is better? The Leonard Harrison State Park side or the Colton Point State Park side?

LOL!

(Secret - it's a big forested valley. If size matters, you'll be wishing for more.)

Tim, I was really asking what is the better side to be on for the best view of the Canyon?

Hutmo, You said you want feedback, so here is a little.

When planning the Cooperstown to Lake Placid day, consider including these roads unless there is a reason for going your original way. I've been told it is a good bike route.
After Lake Pleasant take 30 to Blue Mountain Lake
then 30 to Long Lake
then 30 to Tupper Lake
then 3 to Saranac Lake
and then 86 to Lake Placid

I was going to suggest the same route (unless there is reason for HUTMO's plan). I'm good with either way.
